Welcome!

My name is Sebastian, and I am a 31-year-old data scientist and engineer interested in real-world applications. I was born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia, where I earned my BSc. Chemistry in 2016 and BSc. Physics in 2017. I pursued my Ph.D. in biocomputational sciences at the Italian Institute of Technology (2021). I went on to work as a data scientist and software developer in the hydropower industry, which helped me hone my programming skills. I then went to work with Oslo University Hospital developing data pipelines to automatically analyze proteomics data and predict clinical outcomes using machine learning models. I am currently a Senior AI Engineer for DN Media Group.
